”For 5 years, I worked out in a gym by myself. I would go and workout, and immediately after think, ‘what a great workout’. However, in reality, I was wrong. The phone call was followed up by a face to face meeting with Vinny at Changing Rooms, and after this, I signed up to a 12-week package of personal training. A personalized programme and nutritional plan were designed and we began exercising.
Vinny was amazing right from the start and I couldn’t have asked more from a personal trainer. He trained me 3 times per week and kept my step count high each day, monitored by my Fit Bit watch. As the weeks went on, I could feel myself getting stronger, leaner and my clothes were feeling tighter in all the right places. Soon I was getting compliments off my friends and work colleagues on how well I was looking and this made the training and new food plan, so much more fun.
Vinny regularly asked to be updated on my food for the day, and how I was feeling, etc… He kept me on my toes.
I now have a new level of confidence, so much more energy, no 3 pm slumps and I’m in the best shape of my life.
Because of the confidence in how I looked, I decided to do a photo shoot, which had always been a goal of mine. I can’t recommend Changing Rooms Personal Training and Vinny enough. “I have been training for several years. During that time, I used many different trainers. The vast majority would give you a program and show you the correct technique. It was useful to be able to go to the gym by yourself and work out. However, you might improve your fitness a little but you won’t get real results. The problem with these other trainers is that they never mention anything about diet, vitamins or supplements. If you want to see real changes in your fitness level and your physique – you have to take a much higher approach. Its not an easy one since it requires radical changes to diet and nearly an avoidance of alcohol. The thing about Vinny is that he actually knows what he is talking about and gives you far more than just a training session. You can see the results that he measures frequently. Also because he is tracking your progress in such detail, it helps you be motivated to stay on track with diet / alcohol etc. Training with Vinny is not for the faint hearted. You lift weights far higher than you would on your own. You also work at a much higher intensity. I actually hate going to the gym, everything from packing the gym bag, to finding the parking, to the time it takes up. When you are training with Vinny, its different. You have a committed appointment which you feel you have to keep. Once you are there, you don’t have to think about which exercises you have to do, in which order and at what weights, tempo or rest periods. Vinny sorts all that out for you and keeps track of your progress. Although I have only been training with Vinny for about two months, I can see a very noticeable improvement in my fitness level. If you are prepared to put in the commitment and you really want results, then I think Vinny is one of the best trainers you will find.”
